Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has had two good victories over Manchester City, but his biggest game against Pep Guardiola will come on Saturday.
Chelsea and Manchester City face each other in the final of the Champions League, and it’s the biggest stage for both managers.
Tuchel has the bragging rights heading into the game, having won both games against Pep Guardiola so far, but he also understands that it won’t count much heading to the final.
The Chelsea manager has revealed that the team who handles the pressure better will win the game, and he also admitted that luck has a part to play as well.
Tuchel said: “I don’t know if it’s an advantage but we know we beat Man City in two games. In a final, anything can happen in all directions.
“Luck is a huge part, the mental approach – who can handle the pressure? The little details and adapting to what happens is very important. It helped us a lot to bond, grow and have self-confidence.
“Man City are the benchmark in Europe and this league. We are the guys who want to hunt them and close the gap. We want to challenge them and it’s what we will do in Porto.”
