Chelsea host Arsenal in a London derby clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

The two teams are far apart in the league, as Arsenal may not even seal a place in Europe next season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been full of praise for the work Thomas Tuchel has done since his appointment as Chelsea manager in January.

Arteta knows he has a difficult game at hand, having outsmarted Frank Lampard in the FA Cup final last season and the reverse fixture this season.

Ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, Arteta admitted that Chelsea have been the best team in the Premier League since Tuchel’s appointment.

“Well, probably they’ve been the best team in the league in the last few months,” said Arteta.

“What Thomas has been able to do since he arrived has been exceptional.

“He put the team in two finals, the way the team is looking, how solid they’ve been defensively as well, how composed and regular they have been in their performance has been excellent.”
