Chelsea women have a huge clash against Barcelona in the Champions League final, and it’s the first time the women’s team will reach the final of the Champions League.

It’s a huge game for the Blues women, against a very good Barcelona side who play a very good brand of attacking football.

Chelsea captain Magda Eriksson has hailed the team’s defensive solidity and believes that it will go a long way to help the side in the game against Barcelona. The Chelsea team kept 24 clean sheets in all competitions this season.

Eriksson said: “We know that Barcelona is a great team. It’s not just about the individuals for them, they are a good team on all fronts.

“We have to be ready. We have to be on it and defend like we’ve defended all year.

“We’ve had a good defensive record in our league campaign so I’m confident that we will do everything we can to stop them and I’m also confident that we have players who can hurt them.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
