Ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash between Chelsea and Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge, Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has hailed Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema as the best striker in the world.
Asked who he feels is the best striker in the world, Lukaku told RTBF’s La Tribune: “Without a doubt, Karim Benzema.”
Benzema, 33, has been at Madrid since 2009 and in that time racked up 277 goals, helping the Spanish giants win multiple majour honours including three La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues.
This season, the Frenchman has netted 28 times across all competitions, including the equaliser in the 1-1 between Chelsea and Real Madrid in Spain last week.
