Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is our top Premier League scorer on seven goals, all of them from the penalty spot.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel insists he doesn’t want the midfielder being his top goalscorer and is keen on improving Chelsea’s attackers.
Tuchel: “We don’t want Jorginho as our top scorer, not because we don’t like Jorghi to have all the fame, he can have all the fame and all the praise, there’s no problem with that, he’s a super nice guy, but of course we don’t want him to be our top scorer.
“But turn it around. What if we let Timo take all the penalties, he could have seven more goals and then we have a whole different discussion with exactly the same performance.
“A lot of top scorers in Europe use penalties to improve their numbers. That is not with Timo, he is not that type of player.
“In general, we try to improve our statistics offensively. And first of all, we do this with the guys who are here.”
