For the second time in four days, Chelsea were punished by VAR against Leicester City.
The Blues were wrongly denied a penalty in the first half for a Youri Tielemans’ foul on Timo Werner in the box in our 2-1 victory over the Foxes on Tuesday night.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was disappointed with decisions made by VAR in the victory over Leicester City and warned the poor decisions by VAR against Chelsea should stop.
Tuchel told Sky Sports: “”It was a clear penalty. They are horrible against us with the decisions. Three in a row. It has to stop.”
In his press conference after the game, Tuchel added: “We are frustrated with the decisions.
“Against Arsenal we were denied a clear goal with the hand, then we lose a final to Wembley because of a handball from Leicester City than lead to a goal.
“Today we have a clear penalty and suddenly we have a foul against Timo Werner. It’s hard to overcome these decisions.
“Today there was an offside goal against Man United that didn’t get overuled.
“I’m for VAR but at the moment there are two or three decisions against us that are very hard to understand.”
