One good thing Thomas Tuchel has done at Chelsea is to give everyone a chance to prove themselves when he was first made Chelsea manager.
His all inclusive style has created a positive energy in the Chelsea dressing room, and even though there is a lot of competition for places, there’s also a sense of collectivity.
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has hailed the team work in the team, and has hailed the energy from the Chelsea bench in the Champions League semi-final tie against Real Madrid.
Mount said: “You have to create your own atmosphere and the whole team, the staff, the boys on the bench they absolutely gave it everything.
“They really supported us. We could hear them from the stands and that extra bit of motivation, that extra bit of help in the game means so much.
“From the celebrations, I could hear them shouting and screaming and running and jumping on the pitch.
“I was gutted we couldn’t share this moment with the fans because it would have been a special, special moment.
“It’s still a special moment but it would have been extra special. Hopefully that time will come.”
