Spanish side Real Madrid have offered Lucas Vazquez a new contract amid interest from Chelsea.
According to Spanish media outlet AS, Real Madrid have now offered Vazquez a new deal worth £84,000-a-week, which is a significant increase on his current wages of £60,000-a-week.
Real Madrid are hoping the Spanish winger will accept their new offer and reject a move to Chelsea.
Vazquez’s current deal expires at the end of June and there had been suggestions that he is interested in a move to the Premier League amid interest from Chelsea.
Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Everton have also been linked with Vazquez.
Despite usually being a winger, Vazquez has often filled in at right-back for Real this season.
29 year old Vazquez has won the Champions League on three occasions and has also won two LaLiga titles.
