Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard didn’t show any sign of anger, disappointment or frustration after Real Madrid were knocked out of the Champions League.
Chelsea defeated the Galacticos 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, and Hazard started the game for Madrid.
It was an anonymous display from the Belgian as the Chelsea defence contained him properly.
Hazard started the game, but was missing almost all through, until he was subbed off late on.
At the end of the game, Hazard went up to meet his former teammates and was seen laughing with the Chelsea players.
Hazard’s dream of playing against Chelsea has now been finally realised.
Speaking in 2019, the Belgian admitted that he would love to get the opportunity to go up against his former club in the Champions League.
“Chelsea and especially Chelsea fans will always be special to me and next season I will look for your results first,” he said.
“I hope that we are drawn against each other in the Champions League and every season so we can meet again.”
