Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel became the first manager to guide two different clubs to successive Champions League finals after Chelsea beat Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
On being about the record, Tuchel laughed and said: “Or not, because it’s not the same club.”
“I’m very, very happy that we’ve achieved this,” he adds. “I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to live my life in football.
“To have this passion as a profession, I’m more than grateful – and to do it on this level, to coach a team like this and to reach the final for a second time, I’m very thankful.”
