Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was unimpressed with Chelsea’s wastefulness in attack during our 1-0 FA Cup final defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.
According to Tuchel, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner can’t use a lack of big-game nous as an excuse for their underwhelming displays against Leicester.
Tuchel said: “In decision making in the first half we were a bit too hectic, we went too straight up front. We wanted to force the solution too fast.
“We had some unnecessary ball losses and some imprecise decision making because we created some two against two and three against three situations, they were way more promising than what we made of it.
“We can do better even if we are experienced or not. But I could feel it was a bit too hectic. Not sure if it was something to do with our age. Hakim is not so young a player, Timo is also not so young. But we can improve there.”
