Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel would have been happy to see Mason Mount and Antonio Rudiger in training ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Real Madrid.

During Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Fulham, Mount suffered a heavy land after going up for a header and required treatment on his back. He was substituted afterwards by Tuchel.

Mount trained with his teammates on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Real Madrid and showed no signs of being in pain.

Rudiger missed the victory over Fulham over the weekend due to a facial injury he sustained in the first leg draw against Real Madrid.

The German centre-back wore a mask for training on Monday and also on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Real Madrid.
