Chelsea right-back Reece James has admitted the Blues have ourselves to blame for the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.
According to James, the Blues making a mistake and failing to take our chances is the reason for the defeat.
James told Sky Sports: “We made a mistake and didn’t take our chances, we only have ourselves to look at and to blame.
“They are a good team, hard to break down. We had chances to put the game to bed early on and didn’t take them. It’s our own fault.
“The games come thick and fast, players come in and out, players are at different stages. We put in 100 percent but need to understand that we will get tired sometimes.
“Of course, the top four is tight but it doesn’t affect us in a way, we are fighting to win every game and every competition we are in.
“The loss doesn’t affect us. Obviously, it is disappointing to lose but we can take the negativity into tomorrow’s session and moving forward.”
