Meanwhile, The Athletic reporter Simon Phillips has mentioned Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher, Marc Guehi, Ethan Ampadu, and Malang Sarr as part of the loan army that will come back to impress during pre-season. He also suggested that Ruben Loftus-Cheek may leave on another loan deal.
He revealed via a tweet: “5 Chelsea loanees will be looked at in pre-season with a view to potentially joining the squad. Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher, Marc Guehi, Ethan Ampadu, and Malang Sarr.
“Another loan for Ruben Loftus-Cheek is ‘likely’.”
Tuchel revealed after the Champions League victory that he’d like to make three additions to the squad, but he’d also look at the incoming players and assess the potential of the squad at his disposal.
