Billy Gilmour wins man of the match award

Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour got his first start in the European Championship as Steve Clarke gave him a rare international start in a major game against England.

The recently turned 20-year-old showed his stuff in the middle of the park as he dictated play from deep and helped Scotland earn a priceless point against the Three Lions.

Gilmour ended up winning the man of the match as he continued his brilliance in the middle of the park.

According to stats by Squakwa, Gilmour made more recoveries than any player on the pitch and made the most passes in the Scottish team.

With 8 recoveries, 2 tackles and 40 completed passes out of 44 attempted, Gilmour got a debut to remember.
