According to report from Sky Italia, Chelsea seem to making headway in our attempt to sign Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi.
The report claims the Seria A side are currently negotiating personal terms with Blues defender Marcos Alonso who is involved in a player-plus-cash deal that will see the Moroccan move to Stamford Bridge
The Nerazzuri have been longterm admirers of Alonso and are very interested in signing the Chelsea left-back which could give the Blues an advantage over PSG in the race for Hakimi.
Inter intend to secure a deal before June 30, as they need to raise at least €70m from players’ sales on or before the said date as they look to ease their financial issues.
Though the Moroccan is said to be interested in joining PSG rather than Chelsea, the Blues’ latest offer might just see the player move to London instead of Paris.
