Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been named in the top 10 most valuable players in the world after finishing the season in fine form.
The 22-year-old has been named the fourth most valuable English player ahead of Euro 2020, and according to the rankings done by CIES Football Observatory, the 22-year-old is ranked 10th in the world with an estimated transfer value of £123 million.
The CIES uses different formulas to calculate the estimated fee using player contracts, age and career progression in order to get their value.
Mount’s stock has continued to rise since the start of the season, and even got higher under Tuchel as his game kept progressing.
Kai Havertz and Timo Werner were also named in the top 25 ranking, and ranked 14th and 17th respectively.
