Andreas Christensen produced another masterclass performance as Denmark sent Wales packing from Euro 2020, with a comfortable 4-0 victory.

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen was given a fresh role of playing as a defensive midfielder rather than his natural centre-back position, and the Chelsea man was class.

The 25-year-old played his role seamlessly and was very good on the ball.

Former Wales captain Ashley Williams heaped massive praise on Christensen for his performance against the Welsh national team.

Although Kasper Dolberg was named man of the match following his brace in the game, Ashley Williams believes Christensen was the main star of the match.

“Arguably, Christensen was man of the match today,” Williams told the BBC.

“For a centre half by nature to move into midfield today and be comfortable in possession, he’s having a great summer.

“Fair play to him, the manager has asked him to do something a little bit different and he was brilliant.”
