AC Milan have been linked with three Chelsea players Hakim Ziyech, Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori, and the Serie A giants have now sealed a deal for the latter.
Reputable reporter Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Tomori’s permanent exit to Milan has been ‘confirmed.’
Romano has revealed via a tweet that Tomori’s release clause has been triggered by the Italian giants.
Chelsea will now receive £24.5m, although the Italian giants weren’t too keen on triggering the clause but Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia held her foot and insisted that it was the release clause or no deal.
Reports in the Italian media have also confirmed the deal, and it’s expected to be announced by the two clubs within the next 24 hours.
