France captain remains shy on Kante’s Ballon d’Or claim

France and Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has admitted that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is in the running for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.

Kante was the main man for Chelsea, as the Blues went on to win the Champions League and it has brought him to the fore as regarding the Ballon d’Or.

Many believe that a fine showing in the Euros will further boost Kante’s chances of being named the world’s best player, and France captain Hugo Lloris has named him as one of the best at his job.

When questioned whether Kante could claim the game’s most prestigious personal prize, Lloris spoke highly Of Kante before going on to say that the talks are quite early.

“It’s too early to talk about it, but we know N’Golo is one of the best in his job,” said the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper.

“He had a really fantastic development in the Premier League and also with the national team

“On a human level, he is always himself and he brings his unique personal touch to the team.”
