Chelsea are in need of a quality striker ahead of next season, and signing a new striker is Thomas Tuchel’s main objective in the summer transfer window.
The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland are the three names to have been linked with the club in the striking position.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool and England striker Peter Crouch has told Chelsea to sign back Romelu Lukaku after his impressive showing in the European Championship so far.
Lukaku was in phenomenal form as he helped Inter Milan win the Serie A title for the first time in 11 years. He has taken that same form to the Euros as he has been phenomenal for Belgium.
Crouch has urged Chelsea to sign up the striker, revealing that he has everything a top striker should have.
He told Paddy Power: “A striker who has started the Euro 2020 well is Romelu Lukaku, who would be a great option for Chelsea this summer.
“He’s relentless, his goal record is phenomenal, and he’d be a good fit in well with their pacey front line.
“He’s a different player than when he left Chelsea and Manchester United. He’s at a higher level now – in the conversation for one of the world’s top strikers.
“Watching Lukaku play this year, he’s been consistently dominant, it’s unbelievable, he has everything you need as a top forward.
“He can lead the line on his own, has pace and strength, and his touch and awareness have improved.”
