Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hailed N’Golo Kante for making marked improvement in his game.

Kante has been known for his defensive attributes over the years, but Wenger has noticed that the France international has added attacking qualities to his game. Kante can now drive with the ball and make some forward passes.

Kante has improved drastically with his attacking display, and according to Wenger, this has made him the best all-round midfielder in Europe at the moment.

“N’Golo Kante has added something to his game,” the former Gunners boss told beIN Sports.

“Before, he won the ball and he made a good pass, he was an exceptional ball winner.

“I say an exceptional ball-winner because he wins decisive balls without making a foul.

“But he is now capable of running with the ball and making a good pass in the final third.

“That’s why I am certain he is the best all-round midfielder in Europe at the moment.”
