Harry Kane has been on the news after news broke out that he’d like to leave his boyhood club Tottenham in search of trophies.
The 27-year-old has bagged over 200 goals for the North London club, but it has so far not resulted in trophies, and he’s now keen to leave the club in search of silverware.
Former Spurs manager Jose Mourinho, who was sacked before a cup final, has indirectly taken a dig at Tottenham by claiming that Kane won’t win a trophy there and has backed him to win the Euros with the England national team.
“Harry is the one that has on his shoulders a lot,” Mourinho told The Sun.
“The country expects a lot from him. He expects a lot from himself.
“He’s the captain and he wants to win something.
“He’s not doing that with the club, so, of course, he’s going to try everything he can to do it with the Three Lions.”
Kane has been strongly linked with a summer move to Chelsea, but it’s yet to be seen if the 27-year-old will move to Stamford Bridge due to heated rivalry between the two clubs.
