Harry Kane has been phenomenal for Tottenham Hotspur, and he has dedicated all of his life to the north London club.
Kane has scored 166 goals in the Premier League over the past 11 seasons, and is definitely a world-class striker. The 27-year-old has bagged a total of 220 goals for his boyhood club in 358 games.
Premier League’s all time highest scorer Alan Shearer, has revealed that signing young striker Erling Haaland may be a better deal than Kane who’s already in his prime.
He said on Match of the Day Top 10: “If you’re talking financial-wise then because of the age of Haaland, you would get more for your money in terms of longevity.
“You know what you’re going to get with Harry, certainly in the Premier League – he’s done it for a number of years, there’s no concern from that point of view, so you’re almost guaranteed goals for the next four or five years.
“But with Haaland, you’re thinking it could be eight or nine years, couldn’t it? And then there’s a sell-on value as well.”
Haaland is producing massive amount of goals and is just 20, which definitely makes him the most valuable striker in the world at the moment, as he can play at the highest level for the next 10-11 years.
But then there is the argument that Haaland hasn’t played in the Premier League. Who will be your better signing: Harry Kane or Erling Haaland?
