According to Daily Express, Chelsea have been told that Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic does not want to join Thomas Tuchel’s side this summer.
Despite enduring a tough season in the La Liga which saw him start just six league games for Barcelona, Pjanic isn’t interested in joining Chelsea. He reportedly prefers joining former club Juventus.
Pjanic made 178 appearances for Juventus before moving to Barcelona last summer. Prior to that, he had appeared 185 times for Roma.
Pjanic complained about his lack of game time as far back as December, taking a swipe at Koeman in an interview with Gazetta dello Sport.
“Should I play more? Yes, and that’s what I want,” he said.
“Honestly, I don’t even understand the reason for this situation. It’s clear that I want to play a lot more.”
