Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has confirmed he won’t leave Inter Milan this summer despite interest from Chelsea.
Lukaku shone for Inter as they ended Juventus’ dominance in Serie A and sealed their first Italian top-flight title in 11 years, scoring 24 goals and producing 11 assists in 36 matches.
“Yes, I am staying,” Lukaku told Dutch broadcaster VTM via Daily Mail.
“I’ve already had contact with the man who normally becomes our new manager. Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet… but it was a very positive conversation.
“There’s also the challenge of doing it again [winning the league with Inter]. I feel good at Inter.”
Lukaku has become one of the best strikers in world football following his move to Italy from England.
