Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly weighing up moves for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, who is a summer transfer target for Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wants to strengthen his midfield by signing the 22 year old midfielder and Rice is reportedly interested in making a return to Chelsea.
A number of other targets are believed to be on the club’s radar, including Borussia Dortmund talisman Erling Haaland and Adama Traore of Wolves, and as a result it remains to be seen whether Roman Abramovich will be prepared to fund a big-money move for Rice over the coming months.
If the Blues eventually decide to act on our interest in the West Ham midfielder, we are likely to face stiff competition from both Manchester clubs, according to The Athletic.
However, West Ham are reluctant to sell the England international ahead of their first appearance in the Europa League since 2016.
West Ham boss David Moyes has previously insisted only a crazy amount of money will convince West Ham to let go of Rice.
