Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen on strengthening Chelsea’s attacking options this summer following our Champions League success.
As reported by Sky Sports, Tuchel has told the Chelsea hierarchy that he wants the club to sign either Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan or Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Lukaku, who scored 30 goals in 44 games this season across all competitions, is likely to leave Inter Milan this summer, with the Italian side struggling financially.
It is believed signing Lukaku from Inter Milan would cost Chelsea around £100million.
Haaland is also on Tuchel’s list after scoring 57 goals in 59 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
The 20-year-old has three years remaining on his contract at Dortmund, although he does have a release clause of £66m which comes into effect in the summer of 2022.
To make way for his new signing, Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham are expected to leave Chelsea this summer.
