Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka has dropped a big hint over a potential Chelsea move.
The 22-year-old has recently been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as a potential option to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s attacking options.
Daka scored 27 goals to help fire Salzburg to the Austrian Bundesliga title this season -following in the footsteps of Erling Haaland, whose form for the same club earned him a move to Borussia Dortmund last year.
On social media platform Twitter, Daka retweeted a tweet on his profile which read: “@ChelseaFC are set to swoop for @PatsonDaka20 from the nose of @LFC and @West Ham. His qualities have been related to the #legend @didierdrogba.”
He later removed the tweet but not before Chelsea fans saw the tweet.
One Twitter user wrote: “Chelsea are pushing for Daka, that’s amazing.”
Another posted: “Welcome to Chelsea Patson Daka…”
Another said: “If Daka actually signs for us, everyone in Zambia will be a Chelsea fan.”
