Chelsea legend John Terry has announced that he has stepped down his role as Aston Villa assistant manager, having been part of Dean Smith’s backroom staff since 2018.

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has bid John Terry a massive farewell after his exit from Aston Villa was confirmed.

Having first signed as a player for a single season, Terry moved on to support Villa boss Dean Smith as assistant manager.

Grealish played with Terry at Villa Park before, and the Euro 2020 star has shown much he was fond of the Chelsea legend.

“What a legend,” England international Grealish posted along with a heart emoji. “All the best JT.”

Terry has been linked with the vacant job at Swansea, and we can only wish him the very best.

Meanwhile, the £100m rated man Jack Grealish had been linked with Chelsea in the past, but no official deal was struck. He’s now set for a massive move to Manchester City.
