According to The Telegraph via Daily Mail, England international Declan Rice is keen on a move to Chelsea after rejecting two contract offers from West Ham.
The 22-year-old has become a key part of Gareth Southgate’s England team after his excellent form for West Ham and his stock has risen further in the last month due to his fine performances at Euro 2020.
Rice’s West Ham contract has three more years left with an option of another year but the midfielder wants to play Champions League football next season.
Former Blues boss Frank Lampard wanted to sign Rice last summer, with the club not as keen on a deal, but it is believed that his successor Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of Rice too.
West Ham reportedly value Rice at £100million but the England international would be disappointed if the club reject any offers of £60m or over.
