Chelsea youngster Armando Broja is a man in form as he has netted in the two pre-season matches so far.
The 19-year-old may have a role in the Chelsea team next season, as feelers from the club claims Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been impressed with what he has seen from the young striker.
Broja did well on loan last season with Vitesse Arnhem where he scored 11 goals in 34 matches, and he has now revealed that his going on loan was a major step in his career.
The Armenian has thanked fellow academy graduates Mason Mount and Lewis Baker who encouraged him to leave the club on loan last season.
“I think the most important step in my career was to take that loan move because it helped me mature as a man, as a player,” said the young centre-forward.
“It helped me get better at everything really, football, living by myself.
“I managed to have a successful year which I’m really happy about.
“I just want to thank the Chelsea academy for allowing me to take that step and encouraging me.
“Players like Mason, Lewis Baker and the coaches were encouraging me to take that step forward.
“They really helped me out in my decision to go there.”
