Chelsea resumed pre-season football with a 6-1 victory over Peterborough, and the Blues have some more tasty pre-season games ahead.

Chelsea face Arsenal away first on August 1 followed by the home game against Tottenham on August 4 in the Mind Series.

Chelsea have confirmed that the Champions League trophy which was won back in May will be on display when Chelsea host Tottenham on August 4.

“At the match at Stamford Bridge, the Champions League trophy will be paraded for the first time since the glorious night in Porto back in May,” Chelsea confirmed on the club’s official website.

Chelsea are yet to present the trophy to the Blues fans since May 29 due to Covid-19 restrictions, and the Blues are now expecting a “near-capacity crowd” to return to Stamford Bridge for the Spurs game on August 4.

Meanwhile, the Chelsea squad on Tuesday flew to Ireland to continue their pre-season preparations at a training camp in County Kildare.
