Chelsea and Leeds United have agreed a fee for highly rated Chelsea midfielder Lewis Bate, according to Metro.
The 18 year old Chelsea graduate rejected Chelsea’s offer of a new deal and is determined to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Bate isn’t convinced he has a pathway to first-team football at Chelsea despite assurances from the club and believes he has more chances of playing first-team football at Leeds United.
Leeds have agreed a fee with Chelsea, believed to be around £1.5m plus add-ons and the 18 year old is expected to undergo a medical with the Elland Road club and sign a contract tonight.
Chelsea have already cashed in on two of our academy products this summer, with Fikayo Tomori joining AC Milan and Marc Guehi joining Crystal Palace.
