Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on signing Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma for AS Roma.
The former Chelsea boss was appointed manager of AS Roma after he was sacked by Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur last season.
According to Telefoot, Chelsea are open to selling Zouma this summer and will look to bring his seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge to an end.
Zouma started last season as a key player for the Blues under former boss Frank Lampard but dropped down the pecking order after Thomas Tuchel replaced Lampard as Chelsea boss.
Zouma started 15 of Chelsea’s first 17 Premier League matches under Lampard in the early stages of the campaign but started just 7 league games under Tuchel.
Meanwhile, Tuchel admitted last season that it was an unfair decision to drop Zouma from the starting XI.
“Since day one we chose [Rudiger] in the first match, it was an unfair decision against Kurt, but he is German and I had a clear picture of what he can do because I followed him a bit more than Kurt Zouma,” Tuchel explained.
