Chelsea beat Peterborough United 6-1 in the Cobham sunshine on Saturday morning in our first preseason game.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel fielded two separate teams in the first and second half in order to spread early minutes around the squad.
Peterborough United scored first but Tuchel’s men finished a well-contested first half in the ascendancy as Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic scored.
All 10 outfield players were altered at the start of the second period, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Hakim Ziyech among those entering the fray.
Ziyech netted an impressive hat-trick with Broja also scoring as the Blues ended the game with a 6-1 victory.
