Chelsea winger Kenedy is in talks with Flamengo to finally leave the club on a permanent deal, although the Brazilian side’s director admits that a deal will be difficult to do.
The 25 year old Brazilian joined Chelsea from Brazilian club Fluminense back in 2015 but he has spent more time away on loan.
According to Flamengo director Bruno Spindel, the Brazilian club are in talks to sign Kenedy.
“Kenedy is a very interesting athlete,” Spindel said (via UOL).
“Flamengo are talking. It’s also very difficult, he’s from Chelsea, he’s an interesting player who’s had a great season.
“Now it’s a very difficult negotiation, an athlete who was transferred for a very high fee to Chelsea. We’d like to have him, but again, even because of the financial situation, the value of the Euro, everything that happened, we see it as a difficult situation.”
Kenedy spent last season on loan with Granada, making 44 appearances.
