Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is back at the club after a successful loan spell with West Brom last season.

The 21-year-old is currently with the rest of the team who are on pre-season, and is keen to impress the new manager.

Gallagher is well rated in the Chelsea camp, and Thomas Tuchel will see first hand what the academy product can do.

Gallagher has now revealed that he can play anywhere in midfield but best sees himself as a box to box midfielder.

“I think of myself as an all-round midfielder,” he said.

“I like to play box to box and just be busy on the pitch, try to create chances and do my defensive work as well.

“I feel like I can play anywhere in midfield, whether it’s deeper or further forward. I’m happy to do whatever and I’m good enough to do that.”
