According to German media outlet Bild via Daily Mail, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has handed Chelsea the funds to go and get Borussia Dortmund star striker Erling Haaland this summer for £150million.
Haaland is a key transfer target for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel after the Norway international scored 41 goals in 41 appearances for Borussia Dortmund last season.
The Blues are one of three European sides interested in the 20 year old forward along with Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Dortmund, however, have maintained that Haaland will be a part of their squad as it stands, according to sporting director Michael Zorc.
Dortmund are reportedly not willing to sell Haaland this summer following the exit of Jadon Sancho to Manchester United.
Zorc told BILD: “Nothing has changed. We are firmly planning with Erling for the new season.”
