Norwich City boss Daniel Farke has given his verdict on Billy Gilmour after the midfielder made his debut for Norwich in their 3-1 victory over King’s Lynn Town.
Gilmour joined Norwich City on loan for the rest of the season from Chelsea this summer.
20 year old Gilmour had his first Norwich City training on Friday after returning from vacation and still played the friendly later in the day.
Farke was impressed with the performance of Gilmour.
“Billy is a fantastic character, he was just yesterday [Thursday] involved in testing and he had the first training session with the team this morning,” Farke told the club’s official website.
“We got the feeling sometimes it’s good to throw the lads into cold water.
“It was a bit difficult for him but he showed some nice glimpses. He was there with a good workload, it’s important for him to get the feeling straight away.”
