Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso has since lost his place since the signing of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.
Alonso was a fan favourite during Antonio Conte’s era as he starred in the left wing-back role, as Chelsea went on to win the Premier League in a remarkable manner.
The 30-year-old now seems out of place in the Chelsea team, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he has told Chelsea about his desire to leave this summer in pursuit of more regular game time amid interest from Inter Milan.
Alonso still has two years left in his contract with the club, but he’s now keen on spending it somewhere else.
Chelsea may demand anything between £13m to £20m for Alonso.
Meanwhile, reports have confirmed that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Chelsea have agreed a contract with the Frenchman that runs until 2026 and are in advanced talks with Sevilla regarding a transfer fee.
A fee of £50m is believed to have been agreed for Kounde, and Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma is believed to be part of a swap deal.
