Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has revealed he wants to continue playing at the highest level into his 40s.
The 36 year old Chelsea defender admits he’s drawing inspiration from former AC Milan teammate Paolo Maldini.
“I hope I can do the same as Paolo Maldini in Milan and play until I am 40 years old,” Thiago Silva said.
“That’s my plan right now. I have prepared myself and now at the age of 36 I hope to be able to continue playing football at the highest level.”
