Chelsea striker Timo Werner is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich – according to Football Insider.
Bayern Munich reportedly want Werner to provide cover and competition for Robert Lewandowski and eventually replace the Polish striker.
New Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann is a huge admirer of the Germany international and knows him well from their time together at RB Leipzig.
Nagelsmann is reportedly eager to reunite with Werner at Bayern Munich especially after the German’s difficult debut season at Chelsea.
Werner failed to set the Premier League alight in his debut campaign after arriving for a fee of around £45million last summer.
He scored 12 goals and provided 15 assists from 52 matches in all competitions and has not convinced Thomas Tuchel or the Chelsea coaching staff.
It has been suggested that Chelsea could cash in on Werner.
