Chelsea are in search of a striker this summer, as the striking position is the Blues number one target this summer.
Harry Kane and Erling Haaland are the two top names to have been linked with the club.
Top reporter Matt Law has revealed that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is serious about a move for Kane and doesn’t care about the rivalry between Chelsea and Tottenham.
However, Chelsea understand that it will be almost mission impossible to sign Kane, as the club has never had any successful dealing with Spurs in recent years.
Matt Law stated on the London is Blue podcast that Chelsea have made another effort to test Tottenham’s resolve on Kane.
Matt Law said: “I know that they’ve had another go on Kane, but they are just not going to get Kane.
“But (Thomas) Tuchel is serious about Kane. Tuchel doesn’t care about this rivalry between Chelsea and Tottenham.
“But the board know that it’s 99% impossible.
“But I know for a fact that they’ve again looked at the seen whether they can get any talks going for Kane.”
With deals for Kane and Haaland looking very difficult, reports are now linking Chelsea with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
