Thomas Tuchel is yet to get his striking target ahead of next season, as the Blues are finding it difficult to tie down Erling Haaland, and also moves for other top forwards.
Inter Milan has ruled out a departure for Romelu Lukaku, and Bayern Munich has done same with Robert Lewandowski, while Harry Kane is believed to be on the move to Manchester City.
There have been reports that Tuchel could turn to Armando Broja for next season if he fails to get his targets.
The 19-year-old has impressed Tuchel in pre-season so far and was also impressive as he came on against Bournemouth.
With Broja and fellow academy graduate Ike Ugbo scoring the two goals for Chelsea against Bournemouth, Tuchel was pleased with his strikers.
“It was good and absolutely necessary to turn the game around,” Tuchel said about the importance of Broja and Ugbo’s decisive goals.
“It’s a much better feeling to win games and continue from there than to lose and worry.
“They had two chances and took them. This is what they do, and now they have to continue.”
