West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is a primary transfer target for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
However, West Ham are demanding £100million for the midfielder and Chelsea are not prepared to pay it. However, the Blues could try lowering it by offering Tammy Abraham in exchange. Abraham is valued at £40million.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea boss Tuchel has identified Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as an ideal alternative to Rice.
Tchouameni’s price tag is not revealed but he is expected to cost ‘significantly less’ than Rice.
The 21 year old midfielder is known to be tenacious, making 4.17 tackles per 90 minutes last season. He also made 1.88 interceptions and wins 2.7 aerial duels per 90 minutes.
