According to L’Equipe, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pushing the club to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe.
The 25 year old is a key player for PSG and the France national team but the arrival of Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid could change things for the defender.
“Kimpembe is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2024, is vice-captain and is attached to his hometown club, but he could get itchy feet if he finds himself on the bench frequently,” the report states.
The versatile defender has also worked with Thomas Tuchel previously when the German boss spent two seasons in Paris.
The report states, as things stand, the centre-back is not worried about his spot at the club and has not thought about leaving Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
