Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly ready to sacrifice a key Frank Lampard signing in order to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
According to Sky Sport Germany via Daily Mail, Chelsea have asked Borussia Dortmund if they would be interested in a swap deal involving Timo Werner.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Blues from RB Leipzig last July for £47.5million, and while he was a terror for Premier League defenders, he managed just six goals in 35 Premier League games.
Despite still having four years left to run on his contract, Tuchel is ready to cash in on Werner if it means he would get Haaland.
Haaland enjoyed a stunning first full season at Borussia Dortmund last term, scoring 27 times in 28 Bundesliga games and bagging 41 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.
