Declan Rice has rejected several attempts by West Ham to extend his contract with the England international keen on joining Chelsea this summer.
The Blues were interested in a move for Rice last summer but a move failed to materialise and Chelsea remain interested in signing the midfielder this summer.
According to Metro, Rice wants to leave West Ham this summer for Chelsea because he is concerned about West Ham’s ambition as they are yet to bolster Moyes’ squad this summer and are set to miss out on a permanent deal for Jesse Lingard, who thrived whilst on loan last season.
The midfielder is keen on playing for an ambitious club next season and doesn’t want to miss out on the chance of joining Chelsea this summer.
It is claimed Rice would ‘jump at the chance’ to join Chelsea and will continue to refuse to sign a contract extension at the London Stadium as he seeks a return to the Bridge.
