Arsenal legend Martin Keown has asked Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to save his Arsenal job by copying Thomas Tuchel’s formation.
Tuchel has played with a back three since arriving at Chelsea in January and Keown says it is time Arteta did the same.
Keown told Premier League Productions after Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Arsenal: “It just seemed that the messages to the players, you could see on their faces, there were arms in the air, they weren’t sure on the messages from the manager.
“I just feel now it’s back to the drawing board a little bit.
“Just look at Tuchel when he took over at Chelsea, it was a jigsaw puzzle.
“He decided to play with a back three because he wasn’t really certain, they weren’t secure defensively.
“I think it’s time for Arsenal to do that now as well because the back four is not strong enough to keep a clean sheet long enough to create anything.
“And in the final third today it was extremely disappointing.”
